Reactive power

OtsoSmart corrects the power factor to the desired value (factory setting 0.99), removing both inductive and capacitive reactive power (reactive power input and output) as needed. Any reactive power charges are reset to zero.

Unbalanced load

The device has an additional function that effectively corrects the unbalanced load on the grid side:

- Harmonics caused by unbalanced loads are reduced

- The current in the neutral conductor caused by the unbalanced load is almost completely eliminated

Remote monitoring

OtsoSmart measures and records the most significant electrical parameters, which can be viewed visually on the OtsoSmart monitoring portal immediately after the device is put into operation.

Installation/maintenance

OtsoSmart is installed in parallel with the main control panel and does not require a power outage.

The device is almost maintenance-free. The filter of the device must be cleaned 1-2 times a year (every 6 months in a dusty center). This procedure can be performed by a certified electrical professional.
